What is HIFU?

HIFU, otherwise known as the non surgical facelift, is a revolutionary skin tightening procedure that's lifts, smooths and tightens the skin without surgery.

How does it work?

HIFU deposits focused ultrasound energy deep into the skin, contracting all the layers of skin in just one treatment.This stimulates creation of new collagen in the treated area which in turn tightens and lifts the facial skin for a more youthful appearance. The non-surgical face lift works on the SMAS layer deep below the skin which is the area surgeons tighten during face and neck lifts.

Does it hurt?

Due to the non-invasive nature of HIFU treatments it is virtually painless and has little to no downtime. You may experience slight redness following the treatment and a small percentage of our clients experience minor swelling, tingling or tenderness. These symptoms are very mild and temporary, you will be able to return to your normal actives straight away and there are no special recovery measures needed.

How many sessions will I need?

Treatments are carried out every 4-6 weeks. Typically we suggest between 1 and 3 treatments for best results. Tops up sessions are then preformed as required generally once or twice a year.

How long until I see results?

Results can usually be seen immediately, but results continue to get better and better up to 12 weeks post treatment as your collagen renews. We expect results to last 1-2 years but this can be dependant on lifestyle and maintenance.

What is RF Microneedling?

Radiofrequency Microneedling rejuvenates lacklustre skin by supercharging collagen production to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and large pores. All while improving the overall texture and appearance of your skin.

How does it work?

Microneedling uses ultra fine needles to penetrate the skin to different depths while simultaneously releasing radio frequency energy to heat the skin in a controlled manner. This stimulates and wound healing response leading to the production of new collagen and elastin.

Will there be downtime?

There is virtually no downtime with this treatment. A slight swelling and redness are present immediately post-treatments but should subside quickly. We recommend not wearing any make up or creams on the skin 24 hours following the treatment.

How many sessions will I need?

Results can be seen after just one session. However we usually suggest a minimum of 2 and up to 6 treatments at 4 week intervals to deliver the best results, depending on the skin concern.

What does the treatment feel like?

Treatment sensation can vary from client to client. Most clients describe it as the 'hot flick' of an elastic band with most clients describing it as moderate and very tolerable.

The number of sessions required will vary from client to client and is dependant on many factors. Results can be seen after just one session. However a minimum of 6 and up to 12 treatments are recommended for permanent results

Most people are suitable for Laser Hair Removal however an essential consultation will be carried out by a qualified clinical to ascertain if the treatment will be successful for you. Grey/white hair has no melanin so is not suitable for this treatment.

How does the treatment work?

Light energy us applied tot he skin where it is readily absorbed by blood vessels, heating them to a point where they are destroyed. This triggers the body's natural healing processing the cells are reabsorbed into the body leaving little to no trace of the original lesion.

Most patients describe the discomfort as mild and tolerable. No anesthetic is required as the treatment is very quick.

Who is suitable for treatment?

Most people are suitable for red vein removal however an essential consultation will be carried out by a qualified clinical to ascertain if the treatment will be successful for you. For pigmentation removal large, dark or mottled pigmentation is not suitable for treatment neither ar lesions covering a large area of the body. The pigmented marks that respond best to treatment are superficial lesions such as those caused by sun damage (sun spots, age spots) and freckles.
